Memory Foam is made from a visco-elastic material that contours to your body's shape. The visco-elastic material from which memory foam is made was first developed by NASA in the 1970s. They had worked on creating their own version of memory foam, and come up with a foam they called Tempur® that was much more durable than the original foam developed by NASA and still had the pressure reducing benefits of memory foam.
