Chinese long strand Mulberry Silk
generally considered to be the pinnacle of
silk quality - with an elegant charmeuse
weave (a splendid satiny finish on one
side, with a non-sheen finish on the other),
and a momme weight of 22, these are quite simply as
fine as silk gets! For centuries, silk was a
luxury reserved exclusively for Chinese
royalty, who prized silk's extraordinary
drape and luster, but now this bedroom

20 Years of Tradition, Family Owned
Owned by the Yuanpai Group, a family run
business, all of Manito Silk products are
designed in North America, but manufactured
with world-class care in the beautiful Houshan
region of China. The silk is sourced locally from
local area farmers who cultivate both the Mulberry
trees and silk worms that are essential for such
outstanding silk quality. In addition to achieving
ISO 9001 certification - the world's standard for
quality manufacturing - Yuanpai's unsurpassed
excellence as a genuine authority on silk
has assisted its Provincial Government
in the drafting of China's National Standards for
the manufacture of raw silk for export.
Caring for Your Charmeuse Silk Sheets
It’s a myth that silk is "too delicate" or
difficult to care for - it just requires a
different type of care. Most modern washing
machines come equipped with a "Hand Wash"
or "Delicates" setting that is perfect for
washing your silk sheets. Wash separately from other items
in cool water (30° Celsius/85°
Fahrenheit, or lower) using a silk friendly
detergent. Manito Silk Sheets may be
machine dried using the lowest heat setting, or "air dry" (no heat) but should
be removed before being completely dry.
Wrinkles will smooth out when the sheets
are replaced on your bed or folded and
placed under other sheets or towels.
