Beyondbeds.com: Good Sleep Starts with a Good Bed

One of the first things I noticed about the beyondbeds.com website is its clean, calm and dreamy appeal. It offers the consumer a lot of white space as well as content which is a welcome balance from some of the other cluttered, busy sites shoppers tend to run across in the bedding industry.

Beyondbeds.com is not trying to be a site that offers everything to everybody. They zero in on mattresses and toppers with some accessories added in the mix. Bed frames are featured for the mattresses they offer and a sheets and bedding option is coming soon. They also haven't forgotten that the pet of the family needs a good night sleep too. When you click on a product you like; a wealth of information is presented to you. They have done a good job of getting into the mind of the consumer and presenting the information they want to see before purchase. The search option is always nice for a quick find, and an FAQ page is also coming soon. Another consumer plus is the toll free number on the index page for quick access; not buried deep into the site to stumble upon in case you have a question.

Overall, the site gives consumers a good experience when purchasing from beyondbeds.com in a well balanced and seamless manner. An easy step by step ordering process combined with quality products at reasonable prices makes beyondbeds.com an attractive resource.

"Ginger has always had itchy skin with hot spots and dry skin flakes (dandruff). Allergies the vet said. Well the night of trying out my samples right before giving her a bath I noticed that 1) she had a hot spot forming on her tail where it was all wet from her biting it and it was starting to bald and turn red. She wouldn't even let me touch her tail to look at it, and 2) When I rubbed my hand through her coat she had a ton of dry skin flakes all over. I was impressed that it did lather nicely and I was able to wash even her tail without her flinching. The next night, and since that night about a week now, I've been checking her - hardly NO dandruff is showing. Her tail is no longer red and wet and I can hold it and move the hair on it and it doesn't bother her!! Her coat is sooooo soft it's unbelievable!!! "Before using Cain & Able Soap-on-a-Rope: I've been using an oatmeal shampoo on my very itchy dog, but it doesn't seem to be working real well. He takes flea pills, so I know its not fleas. Do you have a product that might help relieve my poor doggie? ( or if not, a suggestion?) He is itching himself raw, and its painful to watch. The vet did give him a cortisone shot a couple months ago - that helped a bit, but has worn off. I guess I could go get another, but I'd rather not have too if I can find another way.

"I'd like to start off by introducing myself. My name is Ronelle ----------, I'm 41 years old, and a mother of two boys, ages 5 and 7. I am also a pet lover with two dogs, seven birds, and two fish. I own and run a women's clothing consignment shop and gift boutique.

I am also a severe allergy sufferer, which began in 1992. There wasn't a day I wouldn’t have had a stuffed up nose, sore throat, head and sinus pressure to contend with. As the years passed, I would get the sinus infections, and then go on antibiotics, clear up, only to begin the cycle again. This literally went on for years. It wasn't until early 2002, 2003 that I woke up one morning and was frightened by how I felt, and then looked in the mirror, to my horror, and saw the under eyes and the bridge of my nose were completely black. I was then rushed into emergency. The sinus cavity was so infected, and had been unable to drain, that it was literally poisoning me.

After massive doses of antibiotics, I began seeing the ears, nose and throat specialist, which had me see an allergist specialist, who performed many allergy tests. We discovered I was allergic to every particle, dust, mites, grass, flowers, trees, pollens, etc.. I was told that there was no break in the different seasons to ease up on the symptoms, and I was then given a series of shots, weekly, for many months. I was also put on Prednizone and Allegra. Also, because of suffering from the bed mites, and their feces, I was extra sensitive, and would get in this vicious cycle of being bed ridden, and unable to function, and I mean literally would sleep from Saturday evening until Wednesday morning, without having ever leaving my bed. Then of course you can imagine the guilt of this, having my two boys, and animals. This has been going on for years.

At the end of February, I was given an opportunity to sample the Ozone Light. I was told some facts, but really couldn't recite them, about what this light was capable of doing. I know that when it was given to me to test, I believe they thought I was just going to put it away in a drawer, and not really try it. As uninterested as I was with the process in making this bulb, I was willing to give it a whirl, as at this point, I was willing to try anything! And remember, I am a person who took a prescription of Allegra daily, a minimum of two to four aspirin, would wake up with my eyes swollen, throat dry, stuffed up nose, and never feel refreshed, whether I slept four, six, eight, or more hours a night.

So, each night I have the bulb in a lamp next to my bed, and I like to have it run while I am sleeping. I’m now going on my fourth week, and from week one, I have not taken any aspirin, and no Allegra. I wake up every morning now like clock work at 6:30 a.m., and whether I went to bed at 10:00 pm or midnight, I wake up bright eyed and fully alert. I glance at the light next to my bed, and just think this is incredible. Even my two sons turn it on for me before I get into my bed. I guess they're able to sense the difference, as I am now much more efficient and able to tend to their basic needs, which before were quite difficult to perform. Just for the record, I have also stopped taking my prescribed Prozac, for depression, which I have been taking for the last eleven years!

After the amounts of money spent on pills, shots, doctors etc., and the amount of time spent in bed, and the loss of time due to feeling poorly, this has been the best $45.00 investment. "

We have submitted and been approved to make these claims. Specifically, we tested O*ZONELite in a basement that had a before mold spore count of 191,000 ppb. After 48 hrs and two 23 watt lamps in an 800 sq/ft basement the after count was 2,300 ppb! An essential elimination as you cannot get to a zero value as there is always moisture that produces mold spores. "To the inventors of the titanium coated light:

This is a great product. I understand the photocatalytic ion conversion, but was skeptical nonetheless. Still, I was floored when this product actually did eliminate the litter box odor, an odor that always persisted, even immediately after the litter was changed, and no matter how often it was changed. It took about 30 minutes to clear the litter odor, after the cat used the clean box. In addition, the light shining on the floor near the litter box, actually made the floor look and feel cleaner. It appeared to have dissolved some grime on it from the cat's paws. I guess It may have worked like those self cleaning windows or bath tiles, or those pollution controlling concrete/titanium buildings in Europe. I know it was not my imagination because my husband mentioned this, too, unsolicited.

The light also eliminates fish odor, although this takes a bit longer, about 45 minutes, in my experience. However, that is amazing, too. Fish odors are fairly difficult to eliminate. The only downside is that I have to remember to shut them off when I use scented bath oils and such because those odors I DO want to linger a bit. One suggestion, though, IMO, you need to advertise more prominently the fact that these bulbs DO NOT release OZONE. Most people do not understand ozone and fear it, even at EPA touted safe levels below 05 ppm's. I have been recommending this bulb to friends and family, but I have had to include literature showing why it does not release ozone, otherwise they start telling me how dangerous ozone is for the lungs and skin and such.

Maybe the name could be modified to something like the clean-air lite or the air-cleaner lite. That sounds a lot less threatening, IMHO. In any case, noting in a more prominent way, at your website, that the bulb does NOT release ozone, may be sufficient in lieu of a name change. Initially, I ordered the Turbo 42 watts and was mistakenly sent a pack of 23 watts. Upon calling to find out if my 42 watts hand been shipped prior to returning the 23 watts. Mr. Stone, told me to keep one 23 watt as a sample for the inconvenience. Well, I did but still shipped back the remaining 23 watts because I didn't think the 23 watt would work as well as the turbo. But I used the sample in a high hat over the cook top, and it did work to eliminate cooking odors in my kitchen. ...... So, I just recently ordered eight of them.

"Hi,
One week ago I bought the "Life for Teeth" spray for my 7 year old Portuguese water dog "Angel". Angels teeth really needed to be cleaned and the Vet did not do it when she was under anesthesia a few moths ago when he sterilized her. The anesthesia was a very bad experience she stayed a sleep for 12 hours more than she was suppose to and I know that it was not good for her health. I tried your spray for only One week and her teeth are just as sparkling white. There was some real crusty Plaque on her molars I was able to remove that with the scraper without having to use force what so ever it just popped of.

"Hello,
I ordered your product, and after a little over one week all tarter and bad breath are gone from my two cats. I sprayed in the morning and brushed at night (and picked at it). Both have always had very bad mouth problems since I got them from a rescue agency. The vet wanted to do the teeth cleaning thing; now I can't wait for the vet to see them. By the way, I think the gel is the best dental product for humans that I have tried. Does anyone else use it on themselves? No flouride, no isopropyl alcohol, no fake stuff....I think you should market to humans also.

"I wanted to let you know that I highly recommend your product. Just like your product states after two days of use my pet Dog Cibo’s bad breath cleared up. After the first week of brushing twice per day almost all the brown stains have disappeared. I had canceled my appointment with the Vet for his teeth cleaning that was going to cost around $300.00.
